 <note>Kajian tentang memory dalam hal ini proses long memory menjadi menarik &#13;
ketika terdapat kondisi long memory yang &quot;spurious&quot; atau semu. Beberapa &#13;
penelitian untuk menguji keberadaan long memory telah dilakukan dengan &#13;
menggunakan berbagai metode estimasi pada parameter pembeda H dan d dan &#13;
menggunakan berbagai uji statistic untuk menguji hipotesisnya. Pada peneliatian ini &#13;
uji statistik paired-z test (Kuswanto, 2009) dan W-test (Qu, 2008) digunakan untuk &#13;
menguji karakteristik memori dari data time series, dengan hipotesis nol yaitu data &#13;
time series merupakan proses long memory sejati dan alternative hipotesis yaitu &#13;
data time series merupakan proses spurious long memory. Metode yang digunakan &#13;
dalam mengestimasi parameter pembeda d menggunakan Local Whittle. Dari data &#13;
simulasi diperoleh hasil bahwa uji Xndari Kuswanto (2009) merniliki kuasa uji &#13;
&#13;
yang lebih kuat dari pada uji W yang diusulkan oleh Qu (2008) untuk dapat &#13;
menolakHo- &#13;

Abstract &#13;
&#13;
Study of long memory process become interesting where it was found the &#13;
condition of spurious long memory. Some of study to test the existing of long &#13;
memory process have been done by using variety of estimation methods on &#13;
differencing parameter H and dand by using variety of test statistics to test the &#13;
hypothesis. This study is using paired-z test (Kuswanto, 2009) and W-test (Qu, &#13;
2008) to test memory character of time series data with null hypothesis that data &#13;
time series is true long memory process and alternative hypothesis that data time &#13;
series is spurious long memory process. Local Whittle method is used in estimating &#13;
differencing parameter d. The simulation result Zn test approached by Kuswanto &#13;
&#13;
(2009) has stronger power test than W test approached by Qu (2008) to reject null &#13;
hypothesis. &#13;
