  • Ameloglyphics is the study of enamel rod end patterns. The tooth prints are unique, exhibiting dissimilarity both between teeth of different individuals and of the same individuals. The uniqueness of tooth print could be used as a valuable tool in forensic science for personal identification. Deutero-Malay people are now residing in Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, Singapore, Thailand and Philippines. The purpose of this research is to identify and discuss about the enamel print pattern in the deciduous teeth based on Deutero-Malay sub race population.Research was done on 31 post-extracted deciduous anterior teeth of Deutero-Malay sub race individuals that visited the Pediatric department in RSGM Unpad. The research method used is descriptive method. The method is used by taking a microphotography and then the data is transferred into the fingerprint software which is also called as a biometric analysis method. The analyzed image is then compared to the result of the research done by Manjunath and his team in the previous researches to get the classification of the enamel print pattern of anterior deciduous teeth. The result of the research is wavy-branched (29.5%), linear-unbranched (21.9%), linear-branched (20%), wavy-unbranched (12.4%), loop (9.5%), whorl-closed (3.8%), and whorl-open (2.9%)In conclusion, the most prominent enamel print pattern for deciduous teeth of Deutero-Malay sub race population is wavy-branched and the least is a whorl-open pattern.
