  • This book provides a comprehensive overview of the diagnostic imaging techniques of the temporomandibular joint with emphasis on the pathophysiology of disk displacement and disk dysfunction. The reader is given a detailed understanding of the anatomy, normal and abnormal function and guidance as to the best imaging technique for diagnosis and staging. The complimentary role of arthroscopy is presented in detail, and new techniques in the diagnosis of rheumatic diseases of the TMJ are presented as well.
