  • Urban community awareness of the importance of appearance has spawned a healthy,
    neat lifestyle. Awareness of it is not only owned by women alone, but now men are competing
    to touch this sphere. In this situation began to appear Barbershop in this city of Bandung. The
    growing of Barbershop in Bandung make society make hair shaving as lifestyle. People have
    a taste in choosing hairstyles in accordance with what they want. In this study the authors want
    to find out the taste of hair styles at consumers Culture Barbershop. Researchers want to find
    out the background of a consumer using the hairstyle. This research uses descriptive qualitative
    method. Data were collected by structured interview techniques. The data obtained were
    analyzed by using data triangulation technique by matching information obtained from one
    informant with other informant. Here the research uses the concept of taste, body image, mass
    media and lifestyle.
