  • ABSTRACT
    The success of establishing TPS 3R can be measured by the percentage of waste handling. TPS 3R plays a vital role in economic, social, environmental, and governance aspects of sustainability. From an economic standpoint, TPS 3R reduces the budget burden in waste management. The social aspect is evident from the technical guidance on waste management provided by DLH Bandung Regency between 2021 and 2023. The activity had 2.731 participants. The environmental aspect can be seen from the increase in waste handling in the first and second semesters of 2023 by 4,18%. Governance-wise, TPS 3R contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Target 11 "Sustainable Cities and Settlements" indicator 11.6.1.(a), which aims to achieve a "Percentage of Urban Waste Handled" of 80%. The target was achieved in 2023, with 81,09% of the national target. TPS 3R Rikrik Gemi is the most successful TPS 3R in Bandung Regency, with 720 families subscribed to it. The establishment of TPS 3R Rikrik Gemi provides economic, social, and environmental benefits. The BEP (Break Even Point) formula was used to determine the break-even point for the TPS 3R business. Further research is needed to find out the Product BEP and price BEP for each product at TPS 3R. To determine the business feasibility, a calculation called Revenue Cost Ratio is conducted. TPS 3R Rikrik Gemi has a constant of 2,4, indicating that the activity is feasible. At TPS 3R Rikrik Gemi, maggot bioconversion is used to create a circular economy. This method reduces CO2 pollution due to the mobilization of waste transportation, decreasing 2,1 tonnes of CO2 per month. A questionnaire was conducted with 70 respondents, with 100% of them scoring a "good" rating in knowledge of waste management. The DPSIR (Driving Force, Pressure, State, Impact, and Response) analysis was used to determine the strategy employed by TPS 3R Rikrik Gemi in carrying out sustainable waste management. FGD (Focus Group Discussion) was conducted with TPS 3R administrators and DLH Bandung Regency to determine strategies that could be used as an example for other TPS 3Rs in Bandung Regency.
