• In recent years, there has been growing interest in developing innovative oral hygiene products that are effective and environmentally friendly, such as Mouthwash Tablets made with natural ingredients. This study aims to determine the optimal formulation for Mouthwash Tablets using white pepper extract (Piper albi L.) combined with curcumin (Curcuma domestica). The wet granulation method was chosen for formulation due to the active ingredients' resistance to moisture and heat, despite their poor flowability and compressibility. Evaluation of the tablets focused on physical properties such as hardness, size, weight uniformity, friability, and disintegrating time test. Results indicate that the solid dispersion system enhances solubility in water and improves flow properties, facilitating successful tablet preparation. Formula 14 with PVP K30 carrier (3.75:5:2.5), was identified as optimal, resulting in white pepper extract and curcumin powders with excellent flow and compressibility, thereby producing uniform tablets that meet all specified requirements.
