  • r than Senior High School students. Career adaptability is one aspect needed to
    face this transition. Career adaptability itself can be influenced by several factors, with
    the most frequently studied predictor variables being social support, one of which
    comes from teachers and career decision-making self-efficacy. Career decision
    making self-efficacy in several literatures has a relationship with teacher support and
    career adaptability. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to explore the mediating
    role of career decision-making self-efficacy in the relationship between teacher
    support and career adaptability. The research approach used was quantitative and
    data were obtained from a survey of three questionnaires that each measured the
    variables of teacher support, self-efficacy in career decision-making, and career
    adaptability in 399 Vocational High School students in Sumedang Regency.
    Furthermore, data assistance is processed through analysis using simple mediation
    with the PROCESS macro program Hayes through SPSS for Windows version 22. The
    findings indicate that teacher support has a relationship with career adaptability
    through career decision-making self-efficacy partially. The relationship between
    teacher support and career adaptability is known to occur directly or mediated first by
    career decision making self-efficacy. This result indicates that teacher support plays a
    crucial role as it not only enhances students' career adaptability but also their career
    decision-making self-efficacy. Then suggestions for future research are also proposed.
