• This thesis investigates cyclic patterns in alluvial sedimentary successions in three Spanish basins: the Ebro, Loranca, and Tremp-Graus Basins. In the Ebro Basin, fluvial deposition is primarily driven by steady tectonic uplift of the Pyrenees, with cyclicity attributed to Milankovitch climate variations. In contrast, both tectonics and climate strongly influence the sedimentary styles in the Loranca and Tremp-Graus Basins, with additional control from relative sea-level changes in the latter. The study aims to identify these depositional cycles and interpret them in terms of tectonic, climatic, and sea-level influences.
